Privacy

What we collect

• Inquiries you send to a vendor: your name, email, optional phone, date, guest count and message. Sent to that vendor only. We email you a short confirmation. If the vendor was notified, we send one check-in a few days later asking whether they replied — only about your own request, with an opt-out link. Your answer (replied, no reply, or not a fit) is stored with the inquiry so we can see which vendors respond.
• Planning requests (“Plan my wedding”): the details you enter, shared with up to three matched vendors or partner agencies, with your consent. Each one receives your details by email and handles them under its own privacy policy.
• Newsletter: your email address. Unsubscribe any time.
• Purchases: processed by Stripe; we store your email and order reference, never card details.
• Vendor accounts: email and listing details.
• Outbound clicks to vendor websites and partner sites: counted without personal identifiers.
• Site analytics: we measure page views and form submissions with PostHog, without cookies or any other storage on your device. Visitors are counted with a privacy-preserving hash calculated on PostHog’s servers, and analytics is never linked to your name or email address.

Legal basis and retention

We process inquiry and planning data to fulfil your request (consent / contract), and keep it for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Processors

Cloudflare (hosting, database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), PostHog (analytics). Affiliate partners (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, insurance providers) set their own cookies once you click through to their sites.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion and objection: email hello@copenhagen.wedding. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.
